Who we are

Get Building operates from downtown St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador, and delivers technical training programs and community events across Atlantic Canada. Questions about this policy go to hello@get-building.ca.

What we collect

When you contact us or apply to a program, we collect what you give us: your name, organization, email, and the contents of your message. When you register for an event, registration runs through Luma, whose own privacy policy applies. We do not buy, sell, or trade personal information.

How we use it

To answer you, to run the programs and events you signed up for, and to report aggregate, de-identified outcomes (completion and placement rates) to program partners and funders. Individual learner information is never shared without consent.

Analytics and cookies

This site uses privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic. We do not run advertising trackers. One small piece of local storage remembers if you dismissed the announcement bar.

Retention and your rights

We keep correspondence and program records only as long as they are needed for the purpose you gave them to us. You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: email hello@get-building.ca and a person will handle it within a business day.
